Follow Rt. 22 (Old Lousia Rd.) approx. 2 miles. Turn left onto Ridge Top Lane and drive 1 mile. As you leave the wooded area you will see the 2-story house directly ahead. From Richmond: Take I-64 to Zion's Crossroads exit. Follow Rt. 15 to Boswell's Tavern and turn left at Holly's Shell station. Follow Rt. 22 (Old Lousia Rd.) approx. 2 miles. Turn left onto Ridge Top Lane and drive 1 mile. As you leave the wooded area you will see the 2-story house directly ahead. From Charlottesville: Take Rt. 250 East to Rt. 20. | Room Descriptions: Built in 1890, the Cottage retains the rustic charm of a rural homestead. The wide-plank flooring in both the living- and bedrooms is original, dating from the 19th century. The floorplan is simple and functional. A living room with a fireplace is located off the central hallway. Toward the back of the house is a large country kitchen. A half-bath is located between the living room and kitchen. Upstairs, the 2 bedrooms are located off the hallway-one facing North and the other, South. There is a full bath at the end of the hallway, convenient to both bedrooms. |
